Ζελέ πορτοκαλιού με γρανίτα πορτοκαλιού

Orange jelly with orange sorbet and orange juice flavored with anise

Ingredients
  • juice of 3 oranges
  • 2 small sheets of gelatin
  • 1-2 large tablespoons of sugar
  • a bit of anise powder
Method
  1. Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water with ice cubes.
  2. Strain the juice from the oranges and let it boil until it smoothens. Pour a bit of anise and sugar and stir until boil. After boil, remove from fire add 2 sheets of gelatin and stir well.
  3. Then put half the mixture into a glass and the other half in a bowl. Wait until your mixture cools down and put the bowl in the freezer and the glass in the refrigerator.
  4. Stir the mixture that is in the freezer at regular intervals until it becomes sorbet.
  5. When the jelly is ready, pour on the top the sorbet and a bit of orange juice.
