Varieties of Conventional Mandarin Oranges – Creta Star
CLEMENTINE
Clementine is the most common variety of mandarin, in Crete. Medium-sized fruit, very easily peeled. It has a rich, juicy and sweet taste. The Clementine variety is available from the beginning of November until the end of January.
The cultivation of the Nova variety grows every year in Crete. Medium sized, often round shaped fruit, with a reddish peel, easy to peel. The flesh is dark orange and juicy, with a rich sweet taste. The Nova variety is available from January to February.
