Varieties of Organic Mandarin Oranges – Creta Star
CLEMENTINE
Clementine is the most common variety of organic mandarin, in Crete. Medium-sized fruit, very easily peeled. It has a rich, juicy and sweet taste. The organic Clementine variety is available from the beginning of November until the end of January.
The cultivation of the organic Nova variety grows every year in Crete. Medium sized, often round shaped fruit, with a reddish peel, easy to peel. The flesh is dark orange and juicy, with a rich sweet taste. The organic Nova variety is available from January to the end of March.
